Yellow Page ads are a form of direct response advertising. Meaning people either respond to the ad by picking up the phone, or the ad is a failure - there’s no chalking up poor response to “creating awareness” or “building the brand.” And in direct response ads, small subtleties often create vastly different response rates.     If I imagine I would design yellow page ads as a professional I really start yaning. It must be a boring job to create advertisments for yellow pages entries a life long. I rather stick to internet marketing and pay per click advertising which finally at least brings profits into my own pockets. It is required sometimes to place advertisement onto a website. This can bring targeted leads and new customers to buy your products. I think Yellow Pages advertisement is totally overrated.
