An interesting point of view. I´ve never watched at this from a marketing standpoint. Maybe we could analyse those mailings and learn something for our marketing and advertising technics. But in a sensible, responsible way, for sure.
Being an internet user and advertiser at the same time I can only say that junk mail is both a problem and a nuicance in our company as well. But there are also useful newsletters, ezines and autoresponders I receive that I don´t want to get blocked by over-active administrators. It is a common problem. Advertising and advertisements are important sources of information, as long as I want to receive the ad.
